Its hard to belive that an electric car could be fun, but the concept of that was shattered by Tesla Motors, the people who created the Tesla Roadster a couple of years ago. The electric sports car that can accelerate from 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) in 3.7 seconds.

It also does 244 miles (393 km) on a single charge of its lithium-ion battery pack, the total charge time for the car is three and a half hours. The Tesla Roadster has a top speed of 125 mph or 201 km/h, which is not the cars actually top speed but is limited to that for several reasons.

I sure would love to own one of these, but with a price tag of US$109,000 or Rs 50 Lakhs for the base model the car is something only a few can afford.
